LCL

Less than Container Load — small cargo sharing a box with others.

Less than Container Load covers shipments too small to fill a container alone, so they share a box with cargo from other shippers. You pay for the space you use instead of a whole container — the trade-off is extra handling where loads are combined and split, which adds a little transit time. Meranta routes LCL through the right hubs to keep that time competitive.
