Chargeable Weight
Whichever is greater — a shipment's actual weight or its volume.
Chargeable weight is the figure carriers price on: whichever is greater between the cargo's actual weight and its volumetric (dimensional) weight. Light but bulky loads end up charged on the space they take, not what they weigh — which is why tighter packing can lower the bill. Our rate calculator shows the chargeable weight before you book, so there's no surprise on the invoice.
