Meranta

Industrial

Industrial logistics, engineered for your supply chain

Heavy machinery, oversized loads and complex project freight, delivered to the toughest industrial sites on earth.

Overview

Where freight becomes engineering

Industrial logistics is freight at the edge of what physics allows. A single plant component can weigh hundreds of tonnes, the site may sit a continent from any port, and one late delivery throws a multi-million-dollar schedule off course. Meranta plans and runs heavy-lift and project cargo as one integrated campaign — from route survey and lifting plan through to the piece sitting on its foundation.

Engineered transport of oversized, over-weight equipment, run as a single campaign start to finish.

Out-of-Gauge Freight

Out-of-Gauge Freight

Specialist handling for cargo that breaks standard dimensions, across ocean, road and rail.

Site & Yard Logistics

Site & Yard Logistics

On-site receiving, staging and storage that keeps construction and commissioning to the day.

Multimodal Project Routing

Multimodal Project Routing

Route surveys, barging and inland haulage stitched into a viable path to a remote site.

Customs & Permits

Oversize permits, escorts and border clearances coordinated for every leg of the move.

Why Meranta

Built for the demands of industrial

01

Engineered, Not Improvised

Lifting plans, route surveys and method statements turn an impossible move into a controlled one.

02

Schedule You Can Bank On

One campaign manager owns the whole move, holding project milestones from order to foundation.

03

Anywhere on the Map

We've delivered to remote, awkward sites on every continent and in every climate going.

Case study

A 380-tonne refinery module to an inland site

A 380-tonne process module had to reach an inland site with no direct port access. We surveyed the full route, paired heavy-lift ocean carriage with river barging and modular road transport, and reinforced two bridges along the way — landing the module on its foundation on schedule and inside the commissioning window.

FAQs

Questions, answered

What is your maximum single-piece capacity?+

We move single pieces up to 400 tonnes as a matter of routine, and can engineer heavier lifts with specialist equipment and partner capacity matched to the cargo.

Do you carry out route surveys?+

Yes. Every oversized move opens with a detailed route survey — clearances, road and bridge ratings, permits and any reinforcement the path needs before the cargo ever rolls.

Can you deliver to remote sites without port access?+

We combine ocean, barge, rail and modular road transport with on-site lifting to reach inland and greenfield sites that have no direct port connection at all.
