Intermodal
One sealed container moving across modes without being unpacked.
Intermodal transport carries a single container across two or more modes — sea, rail and road — without unpacking the goods at each transfer. The box moves; the cargo inside stays sealed. It pairs the low cost of rail and ocean with the reach of trucking. Meranta designs intermodal routes that weigh cost, speed and carbon against the priorities of each lane.
