Freight Forwarder

The agent that arranges shipments on behalf of the cargo owner.

A freight forwarder organises the movement of goods across carriers and modes without owning the ships or aircraft itself. The forwarder books space, prepares documents, handles customs and consolidates cargo to win better rates. As your forwarder, Meranta becomes the single point of accountability across a chain of carriers and agents that would otherwise have none.
